3 Morning Green Drinks

Enjoying a morning green drink is a powerful way to start your day. Making this a daily ritual will help your mood, mindset, blood sugar, hormones and weight loss.

Energizing Green Drink

This habit sets the stage for making healthy food choices for the rest of the day. Providing your body with a clean source of alkalizing nutrients first thing in the morning can curb food cravings and binge eating.

Regardless of how hard you tried to convince your mother or grandmother otherwise, there are no valid reasons, disease processes, or conditions that contradict the consumption of vegetables. Focusing on creating an alkaline-rich diet will optimize your body function.

Green drinks help to support an alkaline pH. They supply your cells with the nutrients they need, as well as providing an optimal environment for your mitochondria.

A green drink is especially good for those people who find it difficult to consume their 10 servings of vegetables every day. This daily vegetable requirement equates to about 2 pounds of fresh produce. That is a lot of munching!

I use a Vitamix to blend my green drinks. Blending whole vegetables preserves the fiber, unlike juicing. Just add everything to the blender and blend for 2-3 minutes until smooth. These recipes are quick, easy and delicious. Enjoy!
